think about this.. the reason the economy is so terrible right now isbecause... they stopped making monte carlos. BAM! doesnt it just blow your mind? when chevy decides to start making montes again then the economy will come back too and obama will no longer be needed.

Don't know if bringing the Monte back will really turn the economy around, but I'm willing to give it a try.

They could start with the current RWD V8 Impala. Make it a two door, and somehow make the exterior less bland and boring.

 

Definately something to think about 4 shore!

And I'm willing to do my part when in 2010 the Monte is brought back from the land of Oz.

 

If it comes back as a 4 cylinder pizza delivery car, like GM did with the Nova a few years ago, we are driving to GM headquarters and taking over!

It'll be a short trip for me. I can see GM world headquarters from my bedroom window!

 

lucky. but realistically i dont think it will come back. there is to much hype about the camaro, pontiac trans am, g8, and blah blah. so will it come back....... mayby after the elcamino

 

if it came back now it would be a pizza delivery car.... what the economy needs now is a simple, basic, fwd, am/fm, manual window/locks, and a small, simple engine that gets great gas mileage and is cheap to insure... and be reliable. i bet they wouldn't be able to get the truck loadsi n quick enough becasue people who need a new car would be buying them because it would be cheap... like near $10,000... and would take you wherey ou want to go and back, TAHTS IT!

Aren't you describing the stripped down Cobalt? I thought they were around $10k.
