My monte is dead :(
hv3 inserts are very nice and give a little more power. as far as ripping them out on a N/A engine i would say dont do that, it needs even displacement etc now on turbo monte i dont have the runners in it because of all the boost it dont matter. just my opinion...
I kinda figured they would get gunked up again so I just scrubbed them a little haha. HV3 will be a future mod, along with some other stuff
I managed to get a lot of stuff painted today though
including my Valve covers. I didn't have time to get pics so I'll update with pics tomorrow
My work schedule sucks! Lol that's mostly why this is taking forever
but I've been driving my uncles Roush F150 in the meantime so I can't complain haha
Def. getting an HV3 in the future, now that I'm going to have a somewhat fresh motor to work with
haha

I've read the same info too. Tough to say how good/bad it really is not knowing anyone who has done it personally OR anyone who has dyno-ed results.
Well, here's some pics of where I'm at after some painted stuff
im getting so close to being done!

Painted Tstat housing
mikes (chibi) suggestion lol
I shouldve sanded down the cast marks but oh we'll
haha
Cleaned Oil pan, so will I be ok using black RTV or should I use the red one?

And after a while of wanting one, I finally got it
