My monte is dead :(
i decided not to polish it
2 hours of sanding and it's barely smoothing the surface on it, and i still hadnt got to the hard to reach areas
going to paint it a metallic silver then clear coat it
i dont think an engine cover is going on this one :p
didnt get anything done today, had to cut the grass lol and then this rain doesnt help any, its supposed to rain all week.
luckily i have my motor in the living room

you did alot the pay off will be good glad your cleaning every thing up and puting every thing together again. sadly it is time consuming and the misilanius things do add up sadly like i said the pay off is always good i am glad it is almost finished.
that sucks man And Thanks
and yes the littlest things add up so fast
I think I'm over $1300 now Lol Today I had to ordered a shaft lube kit for my steering shaft and a stock grand prix PVC tube for my UIM, I wanna see if I can make it work somehow on my K&N elbow Lol
But yea the dealer didn't have neither of those two things in stock
GEEEZZ scroll down and look at that polished L26 UIM!!
but as you can see, he also couldnt get it in all the hard to polish areas
