Yes yes I do wanna, i know i can get it shiny but not in the hard to get areas and it's going to look ugly :p it's the little things like that, that will bother me like crazy haha I'd rather just paint it

Thanks man and yes the littlest things add up so fast I think I'm over $1300 now Lol

Today I had to ordered a shaft lube kit for my steering shaft and a stock grand prix PVC tube for my UIM, I wanna see if I can make it work somehow on my K&N elbow Lol
But yea the dealer didn't have neither of those two things in stock

That's very nice, but again... you drive your car. I wouldn't want to spend all that time polishing and then have to clean it

i think it the polished uim looks sharp. im sure it can be clear coated to make clean up a little quicker. its definitely a vast improvement over the factory look.

The polished UIM looks AWESOME!
If I was in your shoes and I wasn't going to polish it, I'd consider painting it black.

thats what i was thinking of doing later on, it'll give it the same look as polished got a quote of $80 to do it but i really cant afford anything else. once i get my motor in and running maybe a few months down the road i'll get it powdercoated
the UIM is real easy to take off anyways
