I definitely will get them uploaded to my photobucket and posted as soon as he sends me a link (assuming they're normal saveable pics). Can't wait to see them!

the plymoth voyager fans are very small compared to the ones that are on our cars compaied to size. i have a trans cooler and a oil cooler installed to my monty and i noticed the difference in the engine heat as in runs cooler. but having a inter cooler you may have to have the front bumper custimed to have a extra fan fit in but im not sure but its some thing that has to be taken a look at but i am not sure for you and your set up. you may hust have to take a look on what you have to do to install and fit

Monte07: You know I am using the two stock fans and stock water pump that came with the car, their (the fans) air pull is as good as any with the research I have done. I have the tranny cooler with fan, the oil cooler, finned tranny pan, fuel cooler, intercooler and a 160* stat. I am hoping that is enough. But maybe a pusher on the radiator between the intercooler and radiator might not be a bad idea. That small fan from the voyager might be the trick. More research for me to do. Thanks -

Thanks but I am going to use factory reproduction hood vents for an SS Camaro from 1968. Found them on Ebay.

Default Update to LS7 swap in '07

Well it has been a long time since I have been on this site and my car is almost finished. I solved the engine compartment cooling using the same design GM used on their Duramax diesel trucks. Put vent holes in the hood and have the air sucked out by the vacuum created at the cowl when the car is moving. (The Camaro vents were too large for my hood). The entire build is on another forum www.UTDSM.org under general. The shop's owner put it up there a couple weeks ago. I am a bit handicapped with computers and just do not know how to post pix. But the entire build almost 600 pix are there (2 links the album is so large). The car was started last week and I should have it home in about a month. I am excited. There are a few last minute things to do, tires, dyno - a radiator leak - a couple days tuning and she will be on her way home. This project took a year and a half and I am looking forward to its completion and driving it.

I see several mentions of Camaro hood vents. I believe those were decorative only - non-functional. I have a '77 Pontiac that has real side vents on the front fenders. Looks cool. Probably minimally effective. How 'bout the stick on fender vents that are all the rage. They have the psychological effect of making your engine cooler.
