I have came across a few extra pieces of wire I need some info on what they are for,there is an extra plug in/sensor attached to the headlight harness on the passenger sideits about 4 inchs of wire with an adapter on the end,then theres another one behind the light control switch to the left of the steering wheel I guess its something the factory added then tucked and only used on the ss models,does anyone know exactly what they are for?

 

The first one around the headlights sounds like the connector for the outside temp sensor (used to display the outside temp on the Driver Info Center if you have one in your car, if not, they are easy to add).

As for the other one, no idea? Have any pics of both of them? Might be able to better confirm.

i might could get a couple pics up tomorrow,i kinda thought the sensor on the headlight harness was for fog lamps if you wanted to add them and i guess the other plug in by the steering wheel goes to something on the ss because theres a blank spot on the dash and the ss model has another button right beside the light switch but i don't know exactly what it is,i read how to post pics in a reply but it only let me do it on one thread and it says at the bottom i may Not post attachments idk why..

 

i thought about changing the overhead console to the ss one but i think it would be neat do swap it with a longer nicer one out of a new silverado
