ok i have a 86ss with a 355 motor in it, well i bought it like this and seems like i bought someone elses project in progress. the only gauge that works is the speedo. theinterior lights work but no guages work, no guage lights or dash lights just the ones under the dash and above the head. no other guages work rpm oil gas etc.... also locks dont work. any info would help tremedous,, p.s. the interior was dissasembled and put back together by previous owner so who knows what was hooked up and what wasnt

 

checkthe grounds under the dash on the passenger side that holds the lower part of the dash to the dash frame. otherwise you may have already done this but check fuses, all of them with a test light. good luck.

 

U may have done this already but pull the instrument panel and check to make sure the fibre optic sheet is plugged in, it controls all lights and gauges in the dash except speedo. Also PDL have a dual plug that goes right into the fuse box lower right corner.
