Default Electric Problems

Okay, so yesterday I noticed that my gauge for the battery was going down. It had gotten to the point where it would trigger the red battery light to come on and I was naturally concerned. Today I took it in to NAPA and they tested my battery then told me that it was no good and under warranty. I got a new battery free of charge and then I put it on. Only once I put it on, nothing had changed. I installed the battery correctly but it was still the same. Here's a picture of my gauge cluster and I am completely stumped. I'm going to take it back to NAPA to see what they think but anyone know what could be the issue?

I would have had them check the whole chargeing system at the same time you had the battery replaced....Then, youd saved yourself a trip...eliminateing haveing to run back and 4th...Especially with gas here in michigan at 4.09 a gallon....

Yeah sometimes it a bit of a guessing game. I had an issue last fall that had me going in circles. I ended up having everything tested and it was all good. turned out to be a bad connection at the auxiliary post. Once I cleaned and tightened that up the car was fine. Glad your getting it figured out and remember to check all the connections to make sure its all tight.

I found an alternator at a salvage yard for 45 dollars, its 125 amps instead of the 105 amp and it doesn't look like it's in too bad of shape. I checked all the connections and they are fine so hopefully once I find the time to change out alternators everything will be good, if not, I don't know what I'll do..
