I'd say no...
I see way to much wear/damage to even consider it.
I'm sure this is not what you wanted hear...

Don't use that in an engine. It's only use is a paper weight. Never use a jp timing set either as many people have had major failures with them. Only timing set I'll ever use is a roll master

I would have to disagree on that. There are some used items that I wouldn't worry about buying used at all - a cam for example on a hydraulic roller lifter car (assuming they aren't pulling it because something broke that caused piston to valve contact).
Also, items that don't really wear out or move are good to buy used also - headers, throttle body, intake, etc.
