window roller upper button

Default window roller upper button

ok, what could it be. my passenger window rolls down but wont roll up. BUT i can do both from diver side. any suggestions?

...Bad passenger side switch, or it got corroded or dirty contacts.
Moisture from water/condensation can affect the switch. Good Luck...Check back 2 see what our expert tech members posts/suggest.

Bad switch on the passenger side is what i would guess.

I had a similiar problem on my drivers side and a new switch fixed it.

Same problem i have, I took it apart and put it back together, now it works but the light in it is out. lol

I had a similar issue but my window wouldnt go up or down. I bought a switch from here:

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/catalog/frameset.cfm

-Choose make and model and year.

-Choose "Door" then chose "interior trim" and to the right you will see window switch.

-Should be around $12 for the switch NEW.


Works fine now.

Pure2sin, i have the same problem. but its on the drivers side and driversside window. so on the website would i need the left side or right side switch?

You would need the more expensive one. The Left side. It is more because its all one unit.
