Default CHECK ENGINE SIGNAL

hey guys im back and with another problem. After forking over 300 dollars to my mechanic because my car was overheating and he took out the heater core in my car, i have another problem. The Check Engine sign came out on my dashboard. any suggestions on what it might be? thanks
NOTE: that is not an actual picture of what i got on my dash.

Go to AAMCO or Auto Zone or Checkers or whatever place services your area and have a free scan done.

You can also buy a scanner so you don't have to visit them for about $100. They come with a manual so you can look up the code yourself. Works on all 96+ vehicles.
