Got a 2001 monte carlo ss with top swap I have prob with it turning off as soon as I put it in gear or give it a little gas what can be the prob?

 

What do you mean.."Top Swap" ??????

I think were gonna need a whole lot more information to even begin to try to help you.

I believe theres a PCM swap that needs to be done as well a tune!
Me personally Im not to up on a swap of that kind... Mines a N/A...3800

Did you swap the PCM? and have it tuned for the supercharger?

 

stumpmi is correct, you need to have the pcm tuned for the top swap....

 

OK let me rephrase that I have a 2001 monte carlo ss with a 3.8 sc was working fine then out of no where the rpms started going crazy up and down then it stalled out. I go to restart it and it just cranked but no start after like 5 times it started and as soon as I put it in drive bam stalled out. So I left it there for a day and came bck and bam the same thing rhen I placed it in reverse and working like a charm so I try drive again and shuts off as I tap the gas. So now u have a better explanation of my situation pleaseeeeeeee hhhheeeellllppppp

 

I think we still need some more info here... You have a 2001 with a 3.8 sc that was working fine. (I'm assuming this wasn't the original setup & it's what you put in the car?) If you added a S/C did your PCM get changed? How long was the car "working fine" and what mods were done to it prior?

 

I did the swap 2 years ago pcm was tuned and had no prob. Untill about a week ago. Please read my previous reply this post for synthoms
