I have a 2000 SS Monte Carlo Pace Car.... for the past year it will just flat out stall while driving, mainly at an idle speed, but sometimes higher.... I have taken it to several dealerships and it trips zero codes, they don't seem to know what the problem is?? The car is in excellent condition, just turned over 80K.

Sounds like a broken fuel pump, or a dirty fuel injector or fuel lines. Does the car sputter when accelerating? May also be bad air intake. Either way, doesn't sound major, sounds like it just needs some cleaning and maintenance

Has the cat ever been replaced? In 2000 and 2001, GM had a really bad run of cats that would fail prematurely. I'd start with that.

If the cat has been replaced, the next step is trying to determine what it's not getting that is causing the stalling. If the plugs and wires have not been changed, they typically last until 100K-150K, based on the age and low miles, it still could stand to reason the plugs are just old. If you replace the plugs, DO NOT use BOSCH plugs, go AC Delco or NGK.
