Default 3100/3400 underbody pulleys

I found this glancing around... something we might want to look at getting for us smaller engine guys?

To be honest with you, I can't really see that doing a WHOLE lot. I mean, sure, I bet they'd help... but wouldn't you be better to just invest into something like rockers, or maybe even a cam? Then you can worry about the little stuff to free up extra top end hp...

I dunno, maybe I just don't see wasting money on a smaller underdrive pulley, versus the bad boy stuff...

I'm sure money is tight, as it is with all of us... but bang for buck, rockers should be your next mod

how much HP do you think you would see from doing a mod like this?

I HATE being the bubble popper...

But to be honest... I highly doubt it would be enough to even register on a dyno...

It might help with a few crank HP, but by the time it transfers through the torque converter, transmission, and then ultimately your wheels, I don't think you would see ANY change

Sorry Vita... =(

Just my opinion though...

yeah i'd have to agree, the UDP on my car they quoted 4-5 HP but by the time that reaches the ground it might barely be 3 hp and temp fluctuations, air temp/ pressure, all have a greater effect.

you'd be better off doing a coolent flush and cooler thermostat then spending the money on this mod. its not a bad mod just not cost effecent.
