How do I prevent headlamp lens haze?

Has anyone tried this stuff from Meguires ? Just curious .

When you wax your car wax the lenses they should stay clear. I wax my cars 2-3 times a year and never had a problem with the lenses.

I don't know how it can be prevented but you can do what another person has said, treat them at the first sign of discoloration or just polish them at the same time you polish the rest of your car....that's what I do. Matter of fact, the G35 I just detailed had a bit of fogginess to them when I got to it but I buffed them out with the same polish I used on the body, Optimum Polish, and they look brand new now.

I just used the 3M kit today, 3 grits of sandpaper, 500, 800, and 3000, the then used the polishing wheel and compound, and they turned out great. Mine were really bad, drove the car tonight and the lights were really bright, BIG difference. $18.99 at Advance Auto Parts.

that kits works great!

Yes i do use meguires plast X, it like that video it does do what is sayes. Good protectant/wax. I am happy with the results
