Prevent swirling in my SS
Hello all,
I have a black 2006 SS that I bought in Sept '08. The car looks awesome and I want to keep it that way. Does anyone have any suggestions on the type of care and products that I should be using to prevent swirling in the black finish? Thanks!

RE: Prevent swirling in my SS
one way to prevent swirl marks is by not going in swirls. i detail alot. i go back to front motion and also going from upper to lower.
for a car wash soap i love using the turtle wax ice stuff. and microfibers are pretty good from target. they havent done me wrong yet.
and i polish and wax my car everymonth. i have recently discovered a really good plish and wax. it is from poorboys world.
polish: http://www.poorboysworld.com/blackhole.htm
wax: http://www.poorboysworld.com/natty-blue.htm
i also have one of their giant microfibers. it is awesome.

yessir if you have any questions just ask. as i to have the black 06. trust me once you get it clean and scratch free as possible its extremely easy to take care of. generally about thirty minutes to wax the entire thing with the nattys paste wax.
