Cleaning engine bay

I knew someone used my awesome stuff cool gald it worked i am gonna try it and spend probably 2 or more hours on it....awesome is awesome right...lol ....YOUR ENGINE BAY IS SPOTLESS LOU....what kind of radiator cap is that???

I too use the citrus based cleaners. Soak the heck out of the "cool not hot" motor and the whole engine bay, sit back for a few minutes, let the chemicals have time to do their work. Then I use the car wash pressure washer and blast the whole bay thoroughly. If you maintain your engine bay from here on out you won't have to do that again. Now take the time to detail all the nooks and crannies, use a rubber shine on the plastic, hoses, chrome polish and such. You will be styling after that.

there was a thread up a while ago that said someone uses a steamer to clean out the engine bay and it supposedly worked really well. I can't for the life of me remember what brand or who it was, but that was always something i was gonna look into since cleaning the engine bay is the least fun thing about washing the monte.

I will be using a steam cleaner to do mine and tire shine from dollor general works great!!! Works awsome one rubber floor mats too

Thanks I try to keep it nice and clean. As for the radiator cap I'll have to check tomorrow I thought it was the stock one but I don't know. The only problem I had with the awesome spray is one bottle swelled in the heat of the summer. Then I froze the second bottle I had froze this winter. So I would store it at room temperature.
