6th Gen ('00-'05): 2002 SS L36 to L67 Swap
#23
Showing the setup without the cover. Beware of the Monte recall for the oil leak and ignition cylinder. The dealer will confiscate the engine cover and not tell you. I have another 25,000 mile Jeff Gordon edition that went for the recall and the dealer took the cover without my knowledge. Went to do an oil change a month later and no cover. Dealer said it was part of the recall.

Please help another question related to L36-L67 swap
Hello guys I need some advice.. I have a 2001 Impala L36 Police car, I have a body that has a 2001 Grand Prix GTP L67 , motor has 100k Miles he's having issues with the transmission, and just bought another car. Would that L67 bolt right up to what I have?? Only thing I'm seeing is the L67 motors are paired with the HD Transmission, the police car L36 also was equipped with the HD Tran.. but unsure still if it would line up . Anyways how much issues do you think this swap would have?? Thank you guys!
