TPMS Sensor on valve stem?

TPMS Sensor on valve stem?
I'm still learning about this car I picked up a few weeks ago....getting ready to slap on some new shoes this weekend. Is the sensor on the valve stem? I'd like to know before I go get my tires on so I can tell them NOT to charge me for new valve stems! I have a 2002 MC/SS Thanks in advance

The tpms on the 00-05 monte relies in the wheel speed sensors, not the valve stems. So you should have no issues getting your new tires
