Default Torquing castle nut on ball joint

I've got an 02 Monte. I'm replacing the front passenger side axle. I noticed the castle nut on the ball joint gets 15 ft/lbs. Though, the axle is in the way, so you can't get a socket or ratchet onto the castle nut. I had to use an open ended wrench to loosen the castle nut.

How do you torque the castle nut on the ball joint with the axle in the way?
