Tires to use at a drag strip

Definitely agree with everyone above- forget doing new tires. With a decent set of regular street tires, traction off the line shouldn't be an issue at all for you. If you're having traction problems as is, you either have old/worn out tires or you need a driver mod, lol.
Also- as said above, skip the burnout. You're wasting time and money (by burning off perfectly good rubber). Even if you do manage to go .1 second quicker or something- the stress on the car, and the waste of tires makes it ridiculous. The burnout box is intended to bring tires up to correct heat for the more hardcore cars.
