fixed the wheel hub today, was much easier than i thought. took around half an hour to complete. the wheel hub puller that i rented took care of the muscle work. my first time doing this myself, and i feel good

Congrats man!! 1.5 hours for the job is OUTSTANDING for your first one!!
I don't use a puller, I use a tool known as an Air Hammer. I've gotten to the point that with rare exception, I can get the job done in an hour flat (getting the tools out and putting them away included). But that comes from doing so many, knowing the tools and the job going with no issues....
So given the fact I've done a bunch of wheel hubs on FWD GM cars and I average an hour, 1.5 REALLY is outstanding!! I'm glad it went well for ya! And remember this, you saved a TON of cash for that job!!!
