Possible wheel bearing FAIL??? Video Included!!!

i think that my passenger front wheel hub assembly is bad, i think that the wires that are cut belong to that, when i drive i hear a rubbing sound coming from that side, i want to do this fix myself, how hard is it?? but here is the video i hope this helps someone help me. I just want someone to confirm that this is the wheel hub. Also the fluid on the motor mount any idea what that is? i just had the oil pan gasket replaced back in feb. and i also noticed that my tranny pan gasket may be bad but this wheel bearing is top priority once again any comments and suggestions would be much appreciated

What brand is should I get timken or duralast. At autozone the duralast is 90 and the timken is 145 but on rockauto.com the timken is $90

ok heres my new problem, i was gonna order this TIMKEN part
More Information for TIMKEN 513121

but the guys at rockauto said that since its a metel clip it wont fit my car, as one might see in the video my part is white and plastic looking, i was wondering was he wrong or do i need to look for a different part. i wasnt sure if anyone else made the switch from plastic to metal succesfully

Not sure what is different in your Monte, but that claims to be the correct part number (mine used Timken #513179).

Actually, looking at it, I think I know.... Mine has a plastic clip that clicks into that bracket and yours has a metal clip that slides on to the bracket (based on the pic).

I'd say order the part number you linked to. It's in Rock's catalog and they are real good about working with you if there is an issue due to a bad listing. I went through that with an evaporator core (the unit I got that was the right part number per there catalog was the wrong part in multiple ways, they fixed it as I expected them to).

I believe in 2002 that part number changes to what you used Jason.

did it matter if u had a plastic clip or a steel one? that the same part that im about to order from rockauto.com 513121, i just need to fix this asap because that tire noise is getting louder and louder

When i saw the OP's pic I know why the part number changed. A tiny little retaining clip on his is different then mine (which has to do with the bracket sandwiched between the wheel hub and the steering knuckle).

Owen, order the Timkin 513121. Chibi used that with his and it worked fine. Your Monte and Chibi's are in the same timeframe that GM used the same hold down for that ABS cable (where as mine is a tad different). It will work out just fine.
