Popping When Turning

The dealers I called said there was no recall on the ISS? But yet every where online says there is. I don't get it.

The dealerships may say that there is no recall because it may no longer be open. There is usually a begining date and end date to perform the recall free of charge to you. If that recall is closed they wont show it or fix it as a recall. You would have to pay out of pocket. I would say give them the recall number you found online, ask them when it closed, and if they can check if your VIN had the recall serviced. They should be able to provide you with some of that info. Also ask how much it would cost you to fix that problem if its not covered.
I believe the only open recall on the Monte Carlo is for the 3800 equiped cars. There was a problem with oil possibly leaking out of the front valve cover under hard braking and landing on the exhaust manifold and starting a fire.
