7th Gen ('06-'07): Lateral arms replacement better way?
Have a question for everyone my track bars broke from zzp 3 years after I replaced the original ones that broke. Now the lateral arms are bent because the track bars broke at the welds. Is there a way or a better way to replace them with a jack while we're on the ground when we don't have a lift? To drop the cradle that holds the swaybar and the other side of the lateral arms to the car. Every time I try to get any where close with the floor jack I am like 5 or 6 inch shy to try to hold it up to losses and to try to tighten the cradle. The spare tire well and the floor board is in the way to slide the studs out for the lateral arms replacement

So far, my only experience is in the junk yard removing an entire rear cross member.
I believe you will want to block the front wheels, get the rear end of the car in the area, rest it on jack stands on part of the unibody frame members. To access the lateral bolts on the rear cross member will require lowering the rear cross member.
Here is a guy putting in the BMR upgraded laterals on a Grand Prix (same install as the Monte) and he is doing it on the ground:
And here is the same job using a 2-post lift:
