It is a fairly tight spot to access with a deep well socket. I did the same thing as Mike (Chibi) mentioned - I slid the socket onto the stud/nut then snapped my torque wrench on to the socket. If you're worried about the nuts backing loose from vibration you can put some Permatex Blue Threadlocker on them to prevent that from happening.
