I received my Don Rome brackets today and just finished installing them and the STB's. It was all pretty straightforward and I did not run into any problems. Now to do a test drive sometime.

I got my ZZP rear bar in the mail a couple days ago, hoping to install it tomorrow. One thing I'd recommend to make the job go quickly would be to get ahold of a ratcheting wrench.

A ratcheting wrench does help a bunch. Has anyone actually used a torque wrench to tighten the bolts back down? The instructions with the Don Rome brackets say to torque them down to a certain torque but I couldn't get a socket and torque wrench on the nuts. I just tightened them down pretty tight and left it at that.

as long as they're not over-torqued you'll be fine, he just didn't want you cracking the bolt or crushing the aluminum that his mounts are made from

I used my TQ wrench on the job.

I had to put the socket on first, THEN put the wrench on the socket for it to fit

I used a deep well socket to torque mine.

With my torque wrench and deep well socket on, it hit the underside of the trunk and would not go on the nut. I'm pretty sure I got mine tight enough. I will check it periodically anyway.
