Default Front end noise

My 06 LT has got a pretty good hum coming from the front end somewhere. Started a while back when i had some shot tires causing vibrations, while looking at that issue, two different shops confirmed that my front hubs had play in them. I replaced both hubs and had it aligned. Had a worse hum and a vibration afterwords. Took it back to the tire shop, and got a new set of tires under warranty and they decided the vibration was from a slightly bent rim, and that at least one of my new wheel hubs is bad. They moved the bent rim to the right rear. I just replaced the hub they said was making the noise and it seems like i have a worse hum now then before.

Maybe both hubs are bad, but just in case, anyone else have any ideas? Cause im starting to get frustrated with it.

it may be your suspension. just a guess, your control arms, does it stop humming when you turn to the left or right?? if so, i will say it may be your struts if the rim is bent. i had that problem...

When i had it in the shop for the initial vibration, they inspected all my suspension (at least they said they did) and said everything looked fine. But no, it keeps on humming when i turn either way.

well then i can only assume the hubs, but since you said you got those replaced, then i am about as lost as you are, cause i had that problem at first, then i changed the hob and it was gone. but it came back and the shop told me it was my worn struts, so i will go someone else and see, all shops say a diffrent thing sometimes.

Got it taken care of. Replaced both of the new cheapo hubs i had put in with autozones least expensive ones. No more hum. Do i need an alignment now? i just had the thing aligned when i put the cheapo hubs in.
