Be sure to call around before getting the rotors machined as there are not a lot of places that can machine cross drilled rotors

sway bar links are easy to change. if its broke off just hit real hard with a hammer and it will start coming apart do both sides at the same time it makes the job easier. the new ones will have better fastening equipment. the large washery looking end with flats on the sides is actually a nut sometimes it will undo but most of the time just cut the old links with a sawzall to remove them. once you have cut the middle of the link hitting it with a hammer will knock it apart. make sure the end of you sway bar is not broken also its very common on w-body cars and a company called dorman has a kit the includes the sway bar, links and frame bushings. its way cheaper than buying it all seperate.

LOL, welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll GENTs, the task is DONE!!!! I took a couple of photos to show "out with the old, in with the new" Check it out!

Of course, I had to use the jack to hold it up for position.

I really, really thank you guys for the help. Slowly but surely, I am progressing on doing my own work so i think I am doing fine with the jobs I have completed (which would have costed me $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for someone else's work)

cool stuff. did you hit it with a hammer???

oh ya and for future reference, not sure if you were under the car but you should use jack stands and blocks behind the rear/opposite tires.

all jacks are for lifting purposes only, and should not be used for extended periods or when beating on something.

knowlage is power

Beating $h/t apart with a hammer in an appropriate manner is the best part of my job, it's a great stress reliever especially on fords, Nissans, kia, Mazda, and Dodge/chryslers. All of the mentioned cars cause stress in my trade especially nissans and dodge/chryslers fn crap cars.
I'm not just a gm promoting guy my fiancé has a great little vw jetta also.

@ mak330, Your right, I had jack stands for the car itself but I had to use the jack for the control arm. To adjust the height of it so I can line up the linkage correctly.

@ sonin66, I did take it for a test drive and it seemed like it was higher on the left side for some reason. The ride was smooth as ever. So I will install a new linkage (so both sides will be even) tomorrow.
