Help!
I found this thread, and I was wondering if somebody could help me diagnose a problem I've recently encountered with my 1995 Monte Carlo Z34...
Some friends and I went riding around and my car slid into a curb, and made my rear end did a 180 and now my rear driver side wheel is bent. (If you're looking at the back to the front from the back it looks like the wheel is turning left). the wheel is not bent. Whenever I drove it home, the car goes sideways down the road, and i couldn't get over 25 mph.
Please get back to me, I love my Monte, and I want her fixed!

After many of hours searching for lowering springs I have found a couple that I would like to get but I wanted to ask if I would need a camber kit or not. The first link is for a 1.6 drop and the second a 1.2 drop.

New parts
Well I finally have some parts on the way to finish off my suspension.
Moog trailing arms.
KYB GR-2 struts, front 366004 and, rear 335014 struts.
Strut-mate mounting kits for all four corners.
Suspension Techniques sporttech lowering springs, lowered 1.25 front and 1.25 rear.
I still need some sway bar bushings that are better then OEM rubber.
Now if I can get my local alignment shop to give a straight answer on if I will be needing a camber kit or not I will be in business.

Update
Finally I have finished up the suspension on the Monte.
I found two broken springs in the back but everything else seemed top be the normal wear and tear for a car with just 80K milles on it.
I did not need camber bolts for this vehicle, the alignment shop said they were just a marketing ploy to sell products.
A little ginding to the rear bolt holes brought the alignment in real nice. Nothing had to be done to the front besides standard alignment procedures.
Now if I could find something better then plain rubber bushings for my sway bars the suspension will be complete.

I just put 200 hundred miles on the car and I am liking the ride quality so far. All new suspension all the way around made a world of difference.
Now for a better exhaust, window tinting and some chrome rims are next.
