polishing wheels
Hello everyone!
I currently need new tires and I don't have an extra 500-600 dollars laying around so I figured out that I want to buy new tires for my stockers, polish them up, then lower the Monte.
I was just wondering what products/procedures you guys would recommend for polishing the wheels. And what springs do you recommend for loweing?
Thanks!
Tyler

in theory, and a whole lot of elbow grease...it should be possible...
im not expert on polishing, but i would think to do what you're wanting to you would need to strip down to bare metal and start polishing with a rotary buffer (by hand would take many, many hours or even weeks of backbreaking work), and polishing agents (i cant tell you what products to use)...
i cant polish metal, but im no stranger to working with various types of metals..

if you're going to polish them to a chrome like shine, it's not just a paste wax type deal, you're going to be doing a lot more work than that. look at this thread on a different forum.
