Default Dyno Day Part 2

Well, I'm going back to the dyno today. It's the same setup as before, only this time I have 60# injectors and an intercooler. Should be interesting.

Sadly the Monte wasn't running well today. It appears that the plugs and/or wires were acting up because it was missing randomly and it never cooperated. Plus, it appears that the valve springs are now not holding up to the pressure either.

With that said, the best pull was 372whp. Not as much as I wanted, but it was humid today and a little over 90* out.

So there's all of my excuses for not having a better pull, lol. This winter, I'll be doing a bit of work and replacing/upgrading things (I'm looking at you GT1 cam).

What springs and cam are you running right now? Random misfires are never good under WOT either so get that fixed asap or it could cost you an engine!

For the temp and humidity and having a raboom misfire I think them numbers are solid honestly.

How far are you reving the car? Got a dyno graph by chance?

I have 105# valve springs and the GT1 cam right now, but I'll most likely move up to 140# valve springs and an XP cam over the winter (along with the dual timing chain setup).

I'll replace the plugs and wires asap, and see how that does. After work I'll post the dyno graph today.

My opinion, go xpz cam with pac 150# springs and never worry about it again. Also when you get the rollmaster double roller make sure to get the chamfer on the pulled machined so they sit flush to the block and get a machined pump cover

I'm sorry about the long delay. It turns out that they gave me a printout of one of my other pulls. It was a run that the Monte made 367whp. But the shape of the graph is the basic shape of the 372whp run.

Here it is:
