Turned onto route 19 on the way to school today and a yellow mid 90s mustang gtwith a lady driving turned on behind me. I passed a bunch of traffic that wasin the slow lane and then pulled into it right before a stop light. The mustang pulled beside me and just before we both stopped, the light turned green. We started rolling side by side and she punched it first and then I gave mine gas. I didnt punch it cause my trans has been slipping in first gear at about 6000rpmand I didnt want it to downshift out of second. I gave it as much gas as I could without it downshifting and just gave it 3/4 throttle the whole way. We were pretty much side by side up to 70 before we had to slow down for traffic. She had about 6 inches on me at most. I know if I could have punched it I would have dusted her back to the corn fields but I didnt want to risk destroying my tranny. I really havent pulled up tovery manypeople at a stop light worth racing since I got my car, but ever since my tranny started slipping I keep getting opportunities to race other cars alot. Its a shame.

 

yea that always happens new toys noone wants to play but as soon as something is wrong bam here comes the games
