No, its basically a different design of the rear exhaust manifold. But the rear manifold is basically just as good as a PLOG. The front manifold however is restrictive. The PLOG will still tie into the downpipe just like the manifolds do.

either i am not understanding what you wrote or you are wrong.... the rear plog CAN NOT be used on a na or sc setup. the rear plog is setup for zzp turbo kits and the stattama turbo kit only.... if you are a sc or NA car your only options are front plog and down pipe with stock rear manifold (they make a ported rear manifold also if you want that route), or buy complete headers.

my basic rule of thumb is under 300hp plog and down pipe, over 300hp headers.

Right you are. I was thinking of a ported manifold when I wrote it but I got them mixed.

hey greg, so am I correct in believing that the turbo crossover will not work with stock exhaust manifolds? Also the exhaust side of the turbo was subjected to manifold debris correct? so thats the turbine that would need rebuilt?
