Thank you! Shouldn't have any rusting issues for a while.

Looking all fancy and wet after the clear coat.

Time to try and remember how it all goes back together

Figured I'd go ahead and paint these even though they'll probably be hidden when I'm all done

Just because

Polished engine mounts????

Wire tuck in processssss.... hope I can clean it up. Looks crazy with all the wires!

Thank you!

So far I've managed to get it back together, I think lol. For some reason my hood latch isn't working properly. Hood won't fully close.. I'm not sure what the issue is. I pulled it from the car, sat it down on my tool box, put it back on the car exactly as removed, but yet it won't function fully lol. I'm clueless at the moment.

Looks like I might have to paint the inner fenders and under hood gloss black now. The factory black just looks dull compared to the glossy frame.

Thanks! And yeah that's the goal right now lol.. clean everything. Engine bay is cleaner than the exterior thanks to a large collection of dust that has settled on the exterior

I think some new convuluted tubing will help clean up my wire mess. Also my injector wires are each about 8 inches long so I'm going to cut them down a little and re-route a few things. Hopefully you'll actually be able to see the supercharger when I'm done lol.

Getting these items packaged up to send to PowderKeg Custom Coatings

Here's their site if you want to check out some of their work. --> Powder Keg Custom Coatings

Still undecided on colors.. Their alien silver looks really sweet

Can't see it in the pic but the stb has a lot of small surface rust starting. Also, I don't like the cloudy look of the clear coat over the polished cross braces.. I wet sanded it but it didn't help clear it up. Best option would be chrome plating which I can't seem to find any that's affordable. Since I drive the car nearly everyday (when it's put together) I think powdercoating is be the most durable and practical solution. A daily driver doesn't need all that under hood shine.

Love all the work you've done recently. Even if I had the money for this kind of stuff (which I wont for a long time due to the truck loan) I wouldnt begin to have the time until the summer again even then I'd have no workspace o well
