Tinting Tail Lights
hmm, just curious because i havent had any problems, i just had 120* days, 3 out of the 5 this week, and no problems yet
after reading this post a few days ago, I decided that I was going to black out my tail lights as well lol.. went out, got the Nightshade and some clear coat and spent around 3 hours today, prepping the lights (cleaning, masking off the edges and around the center where I wanted it to be lighter so the light could show through, and then the actual painting)
Anyways, here's a pic..
they're still a really flat black because I didn't buff anything. I didn't want to finalize anything until I knew how well the lights show through in the dark. (it works like a charm) Tomorrow, I'm going to touch up a few spots, mask off the centers completely and make everything else as black as it'll get
) I'll post some pics after wet-sanding and buffing
