I did mine last fall and they still look great no cracks .

They look good, you need to buff them after about a week of curing just to be safe. Wetsand them with 2000 grit first though. You'll like it a lot more

Yes the plastic black pieces do have cracks from heat.
hmm, just curious because i havent had any problems, i just had 120* days, 3 out of the 5 this week, and no problems yet

after reading this post a few days ago, I decided that I was going to black out my tail lights as well lol.. went out, got the Nightshade and some clear coat and spent around 3 hours today, prepping the lights (cleaning, masking off the edges and around the center where I wanted it to be lighter so the light could show through, and then the actual painting)

Anyways, here's a pic.. they're still a really flat black because I didn't buff anything. I didn't want to finalize anything until I knew how well the lights show through in the dark. (it works like a charm) Tomorrow, I'm going to touch up a few spots, mask off the centers completely and make everything else as black as it'll get ) I'll post some pics after wet-sanding and buffing
