just something to think about-cops have used darkened lights as an excuse to pull me over and search me many times even though light outputs great. funny thing is they've never ticketed me for them! lol

the reason im not to big of a fan of tinting tail lights other than the cop reason isss.. i dont want some nimrod driving behind me to rear end me and say its because they couldnt see my tail lights. with the way people drive today i want the tail lights to be 100% visible! a few shades might not be too bad but idk its up to you!!

are you sure that wasn't because of something else? all nightshade is really is a cleared black in a spray can, not sure how that would make it crack? maybe there's different materials in there that i don't know about tho? how big did the crack end up being?

Being black they absorb more heat, hit a hot day in the sun and plastic can crack. It isn't surprising.

All look nice but The Mason police would have fun with the Deuce then... My Kid got pulled over for having an air freshener hanging from his rear view Mirror.

Have you had paint cracks on your car?

I'm not too worried about the whole cop situation because as long as you can see the lights from 500 feet away then it's legal. But I think I'm just going to do it myself. Thanks for your guys' input.

Is my car a piece of plastic that originally wasn't black?

Yes the plastic black pieces do have cracks from heat.
