X2 Great Idea lol.. Does plastidip peel off the same with a layer of paint over it? Also do you just primer over the plastidip, then paint and clear as usual??? just wondering lol.. Was thinking about plastipping my wheels but I'd like to paint gloss black over them since you bring up painting over plasti lol

Plasti dipping is definitely something to consider, Ive never messed with it before, but another really cheap option that made me think of is the fact that I still have some of the lime green tape I used when racing to put over stuff, could definitely get a feel for it with that and it wouldn't cost a dime.

I'm going to suggest instead of a bright lime green, go with synergy green from the new camaros. I had the color combo mocked up for my camaro and never got time to do it. Not to mention the color looks AMAZING in person.

idk if painting over it would effect the way it peels or not. I know you can get plastidip that comes with colors to add. I think it's just white plastidip, the only drawback is that you've gotta paint it on rather than just a spray can. With as straight of pieces as what you'd be doing, i don't think it'd be hard to brush it on. . . . here's what i'm talking about. . .
