Default Painting ground effects

Hey guys I'm considering painting my Black ground effects on my 2001 SS LE. Mine have some chips and road rash on them. Thinking about going silver. What do you think?? Leave them Black or go with Silver?? I have already installed a SLP grille and 06-07 Badges. Been thinking about picking up a set of 06-07 17" LTZ wheels or SS wheels also.

Black with Silver Ground effects looks awesome on these cars

I also did a red line between the two.

Mine has the High Sport package. I was thinking about a Red pinstripe above it aswell.
