Unhappy HELP Windshield Wiper Arm Threading Stripped '06 Monte Carlo SS

Hi all, last night the threading that attaches the driver's side (left) windshield wiper arm to the windshield motor stripped off, so the motor spins but the teeth on the windshield wiper arm that it engages to were stripped smooth. The part is discontinued and I cannot find a replacement anywhere. Here is the link to the diagram on GM parts direct, I need #3 or part number 10354539. https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/v-2006...trical--wipers

I have found multiple wiper arms for a 2000-2005 Monte Carlo. Does anyone know if these are compatible with the 2006 or 2007s? I have been unable to find a replacement online anywhere. Please help, my next step is to begin scouring the junkyards but I am scared I will not have much luck. Thank you all.

According to the link you provided, that arm is only good for the 06-07 Monte. Now, I admit, I have seen that web site not always be spot on. Such as I know a LOT of the 2006-2007 Monte matches with a 2006+ Impala. So, in theory, there is a chance that wiper arm *might* work. At least it is the splines on the arm and not rest of the wiper assemble.
You might want to check eBay and Car-Parts.com and local junk yards for salvage wiper arms (those usually don't go bad).

I called around to probably 6+ junkyards in my area before I was able to get in contact with Tilbury Auto Wreckers who had one they could get for me off an old '07.. Only cost me $25 but it was the only one in my area so I need to make sure I solve the stripping issue so it doesn't happen again or else I may be looking in that Impala direction. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. Ebay, dealerships in Canada and USA, Carparts.com, and local suppliers all had nothing so I consider myself extremely lucky that I was able to find one at a junkyard.

Also, just while I'm talking to you, I'm thinking about getting a Diablosport AFM disabler for the displacement on demand LS4. I know they have a high pressure oil pump so by disabling there is a risk of burning the extra oil from the high pressure pump but I can't seem to find a thread on it. Have you come across anything like this in your experience?

I'll attach a link of the disabler I'm thinking of. https://www.tdotperformance.ca/diabl...xoCTJ8QAvD_BwE

Thanks again for all the help.

Usually a wiper arm strips out because it was not properly seated and tightened down (so the splines rub, as they are not locked in).

As for disabling DoD, not something I have researched or been involved with (I have dealt with 2005 and old Montes).

Factory torque spec for that bolt is 32 N/m. I made sure to tighten the drivers side and took off the passenger cover and got it too. It was kind of loose as well so it's a good thing I caught it.
