Default Help - How can I fix this?

I had a problem with my exhaust a few months back. It left this nasty hole in my rear bumper.

It seems like to me my exhaust was giving off too much heat or something. My knowledge of cars is really novice unfortunately . But that is why I'm here. I had to get a new exhaust because the old one was all rusted up, had holes everywhere, and had actually fallen off the bottom of my Monte.

looks like the shop has it to high on the car and causing the bumper to melt. the only way to fix that is have another shop to extend the hangers a little so it wont melt any more.

Thanks for the response. Is there a way to patch up my bumper or am I going to have to replace the whole thing?

Probably your best bet is to find another cover at a salvage yard or on ebay and then get it painted.

There is not going to be any easy way to fix that cover. It will be cheaper to have it replaced.
