Default Bulbs on this thing burnt out - $250 to fix! Help?

OK, so, I don't actually know the technical term for this piece, but the bulbs on it burnt out. The whole panel is actually starting to go. I got a price quote of $250 to fix it because I will need to replace the entire piece. I can't just switch bulbs, they said.

Obviously that's not going to fly. Does anyone know how to ghetto rig it so that I can just replace the bulbs? I can solder somewhat OK if that's what I have to do... Or how about any moderately priced web site where I can pick up a replacement of this thing?

I'm going to try junk yards, but since it's an electrical component of the dash, it's going to be a very rare find alone, much less properly functioning. That's even if I can find a local junked Monte to begin with. So junkyard isn't looking like a likely option, tbh.

The leftmost components in red are completely out; the right one is going out. It's only a matter of time before I lose all lighting in that area.

Any help is appreciated.

We replaced the bulbs on my 05s heater controls and there was a how to thread floating around here somewhere cause I printed it out. It listed the radio shack part numbers for the bulbs and you need to know how to solder plus you also need to pick up a solder sucker.

They are serviceable, you just have to take it apart and replace the bulbs with solder you are correct.

I can't find the directions right now.

Oh good, so I can actually do this. I'll check the How-To section and see if I find anything.

Here is one for sale, DECENT price, others I found were much more expensive.
A lot less, than what I paid to replace mine.

Better buy that one within next 2 hours or price goes up. Beats heck out of soldering and all that.

You can always send it to BBEngineer and have him replace them all and do a custom color LED for you for $60
