Default HELP! Best way to fix replace engine cradle?

Have a 2000 monte ss. The control arm bushings went bad and separated and now they have worn into the engine cradle. Whats is the best way to change the engine cradle out? Any one know if it can be done somehow without pulling the motor? Also any ideas on changing the control arm bushings? I have read on another thread that its easier to just replace with new control arms with the bushings already installed?

haha, i just replaced mine a few months back... its honestly not that hard... just time consuming...

you don't have to pull the engine out, but you will need to figure out a way to support the engine from above... i cant remember all the exacts steps but off the top of my head here is what i remember.

You will have to unbolt your steering rack from the K-frame
Basicaly remove the control arm off the K-Frame
Remove sway bar
two bolts for the tranny to the k frame, same for the engine on the other side
MAKE SURE WHAT EVER IS HOLDING UP YOUR ENGINE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE THE WEIGHT

You now have four bolts, one in each corner of the K-frame, should drop out
Hope you realized that you'll to jack your car and put the jack stands where it wont be in the way of the K-frame
