Lightbulb Changing scrpt emblems ...

Curious what folks' opinions are on changing out the side & rear *script* emblems to a color that can be easily seen. Like swappin' my blues for the grey/silvers, or the black car guys going silver or white, red, etc., ...

I have been thinking about it, ...

They sometimes look alright when swapped out, one problem that a lot of people run into is the logos go on crooked.

I prefer a debadge personally

I like a debadged trunk, and the side scripts changed out

You could try putting tape around the existing emblems before removing them. Once removed, either paint the originals or get emblems in the color you want from the junkyard. I would go with painting your originals.

I also put silver scripts on my Monte. I love the change! They pop a lot nicer and just LOOK better. Here's a link to a page with pics: http://crzyz28.sytes.net/mycars/2004...ng.htmlhttp://

Since the '04 SS did NOT have side scripts (just the SS badging), I had to add them. I used a neighbor's car to get some "crude" placement estimates, but over all, I think it worked well!
