Default Car cover, which?

So I'm in Pensacola Florida now, right along the gulf coast. Just moved here from northern Indiana where the winters accumulate up to 72 inches of snow and temperatures regularly dip below 0. In the next month or so I should be bringing my Monte down here, but I'm literally 200 yards from the coast, and it's outdoor parking, so my Monte will have to endure the thick salt in the air from the gulf waters AND the harsh Florida sunshine which fades paint (especially red, which she is).

What I was looking to do to protect her from the elements is get a car cover. Is there a certain material for a car cover I should be looking for? I'll probably be putting this cover on daily, and I want it to go on smoothly adding no scratches to the paint on the car at all. Any suggestions?

Noah or Evolution 4 - 2 very good outdoor covers. I have the Evolution 4 for my 05 that sits outside half of the year. Covercraft makes it. It's large enough to fit the Montes with the high sports appearance package.

But, with any car cover, your car needs to be clean before you put it on or you risk scratches. When the cover gets wet it's kinda hard to store it wet (don't throw it in your trunk wet). It's best to let it dry on the car.

It will also help to wash and wax it regularly. Sea salt will destroy any finish if allow to set in, along with the sun beaming on it. During my years living in Puerto Rico, all my cars suffered due to the salt, sun and constant humidity, and regardless of how many times I washed, waxed or garaged the car, my car's paint still suffered. Just keep it clean, waxed and cover. That's all you can do.

Thanks for the company name. I'm looking to get a cover for mine and I just don't want to end up with a cheaply made one that doesn't do what it's supposed to; you get what you pay for, right?!
