Well Space, the next group ($25,000 - $30,000 range) includes the 2007 Impala. The Impala times are 0-60 - 5.6sec & 1/4 mile of 14.2sec Top speed of 101mph.

The Impalas time is just slightly better than the 1st place 2007 Subaru Impreza. Apparently they didn't actually run a Monte SS, but I personally think the Monte would be slightly quicker than the Impala. Who knows, but I don't think the Monte would be any slower than the Impala.

The only non-stock item on my SS, is a K&N drop in filter. Whether this would add anything, I don't know. But all being said, according to the Car and driver tests, my Monte should beat them all.

weird that the saturn ion redline and chev cobalt ss are so far apart even though they run the same motors/tranny's. weight difference i guess.

Breathing is starting to get a little tough but nothing compared to the people close to the fires so I am grateful.

My eyes have been itching and hurting a tiny bit, but nothing like the brave firefighters out there.

....And yes, my car (& driver) will beat all those cars in the 1/8 to 1/4 mile.

 

my car will beat anything, now let me explain, wether or not i come in first or last the fact that its MY car and its a MONTE CARLO, but i think ill either win or be close
