Default black trim

I have a red monte carlo. I was thinking about doing black trim along the bottom. What is everyones opinion of that look.
Here is a pick of my car:

I think the black trim/ground fx would look good and add character. I believe that's standard with the Dale Jr edition Montes.

Are you talking ground fx in black, or some sort of striping in black?

either way the black is a nice offset to the red color, sometimes silver is a good contrast as well, but you will want to consider the interior when doing this as well, as the colors should go with each other (just my opinion lol).

If you have the time and means I say go for it

The thinking is black ground effects tend to make your car appear higher than lower. Kind of like a shadow, void of any color where as the red represents the cars true height. I'm more of a fan of the lowered look. But it's your monte.

Thanks everyone for the input. I think I am going to try it and see how I like it. It will be something different for sure.
