Default Black car, black bowties, black SS?

Black 06 SS.

I like black. I want it all black.

I'm thinking I should redo the bowties black, and if I do that, I should paint the SS emblems black. Has anyone done this? Does it look alright? Or is it too black? Anyone with pictures?

Also, on my wheels...the shiny 18s that came with SS models...there is a gold bowtie. Should I paint that black too? I am not at all sure about that.

Or instead of black should I use a color like red or blue?

Everyone here that has blacked out their emblems uses vinyl overlays and they look great.

A few have some painted, but I would prefer the overlay myself.

Awesome. I never even thought about using vinyl. I'll do that this weekend hopefully. Buy some vinyl and a razor blade...

Now I only have to worry about taking off the bowties, which shouldn't be too hard.

I AM NOT SURE IF THERE ARE RULES FOR POSTING WEBSITES. IF SO, I AM SORRY AND TAKE THIS DOWN, BUT I ALSO HAVE A BLACK '06 AND DID THE OVERLAYS FROM THIS COMPANY. I DID THEIR "LIQUID DOME" PROCESS. THEY ARE AWESOME AND FIT PERFECTLY! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. AGAIN, SORRY IF POSTING AN ADDRESS IS A NO NO.

i was thinking about blacking ot the bowties, but im leaning toward more of a candy red or metalic.

if you do black paint i would at least do flat. if you do the same glossy black, you might as well just take them off.

those overlays look good. im not sure if BRIGHT was what he is going for though???

Was just showing how reflective they are. He carries plain gloss or flat black as well. The reflective is kind of cool during the day as you walk past it sort of goes from black, to a dark copper and back again.

I painted my bowtie, I like it. I actually got overlays for the wheels...

With flash (they're reflective)

Without

Don't mind the tires, they were worth $200 each but got them for 1/4 the price because they were the wrong size.
