6th Gen Trunk KEY HOLE ???

Huh, I was wondering why my trunk had only one strut in it.. GM cutting costs?
Also, I thought my car was just missing the side moldings.. No keyhole in the trunk was kind of weird at first, as I had to open the driver door to pop the trunk. (The alarm was put on before I got the car, and I didn't get the original key fobs as a result.) Later on, I got my alarm's remote trunk release hooked up, and it's worked ever since. As for the side moldings, I got some of those clear door guards at the auto parts store and they help protect the edges of the doors from dings at least.

I'm kinda glad my 03 has a trunk key lock because at the big show I'm going to be in, you have to disconnect the battery after you park the car in the building. I can throw stuff in my trunk and close it and no one will be able to get in there except me. Not that anyone would.

Well idk if the passenger door keyhole disappeared just in 05 bcuz mine doesnt have one as well
