Why don't you go buy an old s10 with high miles and a little rust for $1500 if you just want to haul stuff. It will do the same thing as a colorado but with cheap parts.

 

Couldn't agree more.. I'd keep the Monte even if it has higher miles. But I'm not a huge fan of Colorado's either.

 

I know the only edition worth getting is the Z71 Colorado.

 

Glad to hear you're keeping the monte, IMO Colorados are not worth much

 

only way i'd get a colorado is if it had eather a 4.3 v6 or the 5.3 v8, and 4x4. i'm not impressed with the inline 5 cyl engine, and the 4cyl is not powerfull enough for my liking (although if it's based off the "iron duke" should be reliable as all hell)... come to think of it, i'd take the 4cyl with 4x4 over the 5cyl, lol.

 

IMO the monte would stay and i would just find one on craigslist cheap with more miles,but hey its your deal lol
