Smile Trading my Dale Jr. monte for a Chevy colorado...

I've been thinking about trading my '04 monte ss supercharged (Dale Jr. Edition) for a 2011 colorado LT (2.9 liter 4 cylinder, 5 speed manual, 2wd, 9k miles, no wrecks) Anyone know of any problems with these? Or just comments about these trucks) I've found a deal that I don't think I can pass up. THANKS!

I've heard about the quality of the interior, (just like the cobalt) but I must say I like (and would much rather have) the manual windows, locks, mirrors, seats, and manual transmission, cuz they are much more reliable. And much lighter too. I haven't test drove it yet, but I can't make up my mind lol. My monte has almost 149k miles. I want something with little to no miles.

I have a Colorado at work. It is a basic truck. It doesn't have many miles and it might be two years old. The ride isn't very good. The fit and finish is poor. The only thing I do like about the truck is that it's got some get up and go. I have never lifted the hood so I don't know what's under there. I think your Monte is a better car than the Colorado.

I'm not crazy about the Colorado. JMO, but if I'm buying a truck, I want to be able to haul stuff with it. Can't really haul much with a 4 cylinder. When I was looking at trucks, I was looking at the Silverado and Sierra.

I'd keep the Monte - better hp & better traction in the snow.

+1. Do you plan on actually using the bed of the truck? Or, do you just like the looks of a pickup?

IMO, keep the Monte.
